Synopsis: Thriller: brilliant mathematician Tom Jericho works at code-breaking centre Bletchley Park on the enigma code used by the Germany navy. After a breakdown - caused at least in part by his rejection by co-worker Claire Romilly - Jericho is forced to go on a leave of absence. Some time later the Germans change their code and Jericho is called back to Bletchley. The situation is critical because three convoys have left New York and are under threat from U-boats. Claire mysteriously vanishes and Jericho finds a series of untranslated transcripts at her home.
